Workforce Operations Cluster Coordinator – Full Time –

Birmingham 2022 is looking for an experienced Workforce Operations Cluster Coordinator, who will develop and define required Games-Time services through effective pre-Games planning and liaison with functional areas across the organisation.

This role is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the venue-based operations for the Workforce Functional Area; including the management and encouragement of the Workforce Operations venue team(s). The scope will include developing the Workforce policies and procedures throughout various planning phases; collaborating with the wider Workforce Team and working with a multitude of FAs (key FAs being Venue Operations, Catering and Transport) to ensure workforce services are delivered on venue.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the Workforce operational planning for a Cluster of Venues; handing over the planning to a dedicated Workforce manager as and when they are on-boarded
Liaise closely with all Birmingham 2022 Functional Areas to ensure Workforce needs are top of mind and upheld through to Games completion.
Liaise with key service providers such as Catering and Transport to ensure Workforce services are planned and delivered.
Understand and uphold all policies and procedures that relate to Workforce Operations at Games Time.
In collaboration with Workforce Training, contribute to and deliver the Workforce Operations Role Specific and Operation Specific training and Manager on-boarding.
Scope all physical operation spaces, overlay, technology and other equipment associated with Workforce operations on Venue.
Manage scheduling for the Workforce Operations Team and support the Workforce Services team in ensuring scheduling deadlines are met across all FA’s.
In collaboration with Volunteer team, deliver the Workforce Reward and Recognition programme to ensure all Workforce are motivated and engaged.
Skills & Experience Required

Essential

Large scale event experience preferred
Understanding of motivators and triggers that affect Games workforce performance.
Competent working with key stakeholders to deliver an integrated project on a national scale.
Proficient in working within cross functional teams to develop, implement and manage systems and infrastructure
Identifies target groups and the appropriate methods for engaging and communicating with them
Strong leadership and communication skills
Develops strong relationships with key stakeholders understanding their priorities and negotiating to ensure effective delivery
Excels in coordinating and delivering projects and operational priorities to quality and against tight deadlines
Desirable

Experience in developing and/or delivering training materials.
Experience in rostering a large workforce preferred
