Salary up to £28k + KPI Bonuses

Our client is a growing FMCG wholesale and distribution business with sites across the UK. They are passionate about what they do, and they are looking for someone to join their warehouse team as Warehouse Manager. The role will be based at their recently set up Trafford Park warehouse and has lots of scope for growth. The Warehouse Manager would be expected to work flexibly as needed.

The primary purpose of the role is to manage and drive warehouse efficiency and accuracy across all warehouse teams and provide a reliable service to their customers. You will be responsible and accountable for the full warehouse operation and team.

The business has shown sustained growth and invested in a Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to further support the diversification into multi-channel supply chain fulfilment. It is a great time to join and help shape the new operation working in a busy warehouse. The Warehouse manager will be hands-on working closely with the Operations Manager and Head of Operations.

Some of the main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for all Warehouse shifts teams on site – ensuring professionalism, efficiency and accuracy, and that Health & Safety laws are obeyed, always.
Responsible for ensuring service provided is of the highest, professional standard through the efficient management and control of the Warehouse Operation whilst achieving agreed service levels.
Responsible for overseeing the organising of safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods, and products to feed business operations and customer demand using a fully integrated WMS.
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience managing a multi-shift and multi-temp warehouse team is essential.
Previous experience working with food or similar FMCG goods is essential.
Good knowledge and understanding of health and safety.
Flexible to work hours, as required, to ensure management of all warehouse teams.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel.
Reach and counter-balance licences desirable.

Previous experience using Tek RF/hand scanners highly desirable.
Experience in working with an advanced WMS, Microsoft Navision desirable
