Hanson Lawrie is currently looking for a bright and confident team player who would like to embark on a career in payroll. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart a professional career within a fantastic business and growing team.

Although no previous experience working in payroll is necessary, an interest in a career in accounts/finance is essential. Experience working in an accounts/billing role or working with numbers and data entry would be highly advantageous.

Good IT skills, the confidence to learn new systems, the ability to communicate professionally and a minimum of C grade GCSEs are required.

As Trainee Payroll Administrator you will be trained on how to carry out all aspects of payroll and offer advice to clients.

Your key responsibilities will be:

* Inputting payroll, finance and expenses information onto in-house systems.

* Calculating statutory leave.

* Resolving queries received via phone and email.

* General administration to include filing, data entry, composing emails, ad-hoc finance admin.

In return, you will get to work in a positive, supportive environment, and be provided with all the training to allow you to progress within payroll.
