Job Description:

Train for a new career in traffic management and work in a secure, safe new job.

We have opportunities with many of the major Traffic Management clients across the full Highways England network.

Daily tasks:

Check, maintain and if required repair all traffic management equipment

Install, check and remove all traffic management to the legal requirement and as trained in sector scheme 12a/b/c/d.

Load and unload vehicles as and when requested

Complete work and maintenance sheets for every job on a daily basis and hand into designated Charge Hand.(as required)

Observe and promote all aspects of Health and Safety

Carry out the watchman role function by communicating back any issues that may arise on the network.

Full driving licence and Occupational Health Safety Critical required, along with appropriate level of National Highways Sector Schemes accreditation. This can be supplied. Further training in traffic management is also provided once you start work.

To gain an interview no experience is required as Go Train will provide a fast, pre-employment training course. Training is funded and offered free to the individual.

Training is delivered in a virtual classroom in the safety of your own home. Classes are enjoyable and effective. You will have your own tutor and the opportunity to meet other learners virtually who are also training on line.
