We are expanding to the Manchester area and have an exciting opportunity to lead a team working with young people leaving care to live independently and help shape the future of the new service. If you have a positive attitude, a sense of humour and a passion and drive to help young people fulfil their potential, then we’d love to hear from you.

We offer a competitive salary. This is a full-time post, 37.5 hours per week. There is a requirement to work flexibly as required including evening and weekend work and we operate an on-call rota for out of hours emergencies. You will receive a full induction, support and ongoing training from the friendly Key2 team. We will invest in you and your future.

You will need to have a full UK driving licence and use of a car.

About you

We are looking for an experienced, trauma informed team manager. You’ll be adept at motivating and developing staff to perform to their best; you will offer a track record of working positively with vulnerable young people, including those who have been in care.

We want someone who understands the big picture – who knows what great service looks like. You’ll know how to support people and bring them together to achieve high standards and help our young people achieve their goals despite the challenges they bring with them. A natural communicator, you’ll have experience of establishing and maintaining excellent customer relationships and a keen eye for new opportunities for future growth.

You will have empathy and understanding of the needs of young people leaving care, and the barriers they face. You will be committed to the organisation’s ethos of and bring enthusiasm and willingness to overcoming challenges.

You should have excellent IT skills and understand the importance of working within equal opportunities, safeguarding and confidentiality guidelines.

Salary: £27000 – £28000/annum Car Allowance
