Teaching Assistant – ASD Specialist Support – Full Time –

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with knowledge on how to support students with ASD?

I am working in partnership with a Special School in Spalding who require a 1:1 Autism Support Specialist on a long term basis until the end of the academic year.

The Role

This Teaching Assistant Position will consist of working in a Good Rated Special School in Spalding and you will be required to complete observations/assessments, write reports and formulate strategies that can be implemented to improve the learning of those who have been diagnose with Autism.

For this role, you will have Teaching Assistant experience and specialise in supporting students with Special Educational Needs. You will have knowledge of Autism and different strategies that can be implemented to support students with a diagnosis including PECS and TEACH. You will be organised and be able to work autonomously. You will also have good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with educational professionals and colleagues.

Salary: £70 – £80/day
