About the role
We’re looking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team on a 6 month FTC at our site in Peterborough!
Communicating with various haulers and 3rd party Warehouses accurately to ensure orders are picked and collected on time to meet the customers delivery dates.
To ensure clear professional communication with the customer care function with reference to order status and transportation plans.
To ensure all UK and European outbound transportation is ordered in line with the business haulers.
To create via SAP all despatch documentation for the warehouse in line with any customer / business requirements.
To cover general administrative duties, reception calls, signing for parcels and welcoming visitors etc.
Accurately manage business KPI weekly updates with OTIF, Customer Complaints, Transport Specials and Customer Returns.
To update SAP with the daily issues for the production lines.
To help support the Supply Chain team with Customer Rejections and Customer order processing requirement amendments.
To support the Warehouse department to fulfil customer sample requests booking DPD collections when the Warehouse.
To request hauler quotations for potential new business for Finance.
To assist and carry out any supply chain related ad-hoc tasks at the business’s request.
To be flexible between sites and gain knowledge to be able to cover the Supply Chain Coordinators role in Orton.
To be able to help cover some of the ad-hoc Supply Chain tasks when the Purchasing Controller is on holiday including Pay Roll.
Support the production team by TECCOing daily and highlighting issues to production and chase for resolution. Month end TECCOing for job closure support for Plant finance.
Attending various site meetings.
Qualifications and skills
Experience of working in an administrative role
