STRESS ENGINEER (AIRCRAFT STRUCTURES)

REMOTE

OUTSIDE IR35

INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT (likely extension)

APPROX. 60 EUROS/HOUR

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the development of a brand new, next generation electric aircraft that is set to completely revolutionise the future of cross-country travel in the coming years.

This cutting edge, futuristic concept combines the two key factors of convenience and sustainability through the development of their digital platforms and green power technology.

They are now looking for a Stress Engineer who will be responsible for the sizing & stress analysis of the CFRP Fuselage structure & interfaces by means of hand calculations, numerical simulations (FEM) & optimization techniques.

Requirements:

Experience in Structural analysis, with application to aircraft structures, in particular to Fuselage Primary & Secondary Structure
Excellent knowledge of stress & damage tolerance analysis methods following established standards for CFRP structures
Experience in the preliminary design phase required
