US law firm based in the City of London, currently working remotely/from home, is looking to hire a new Senior Conflicts/New Business Intake Analyst to focus on analysing and resolving conflicts associated with new clients/new matters, working under the supervision of the Director of Conflicts (New Business) where you will be expected to be able to work independently and be responsible for processing all incoming new business requests and analysing database reports to identify and facilitate the resolution of any conflicts. Duties will include being asked to analyse and process new client/new matter requests and all supporting documents, create conflicts reports after preparing search terms for related parties in a matter, identify existing and potential conflicts for each new client/new matter by reviewing and analysing conflicts reports, prepare concise, comprehensive descriptions of prospective client/matter conflicts landscape based on the rules of professional conduct for attorneys and other submitters, interact regularly with attorneys through email and telephone to investigate potential conflict issues, and solutions.in connection with a new client/matter form, provide regular conflicts clearance updates to responsible attorneys and other users., maintain conflicts resolution notes and responses for each new client/new matter form, request waivers for all new clients/new matters requiring consent and confirm that all conflicts have been resolved and provide conflicts training for secretaries, paralegals and attorneys as needed. Standard hours will be 8am to 4pm through to 9:30am to 5:30pm however flexibility will be required to suit the needs of the role. Knowledge of IntApp Open and Conflicts, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat is hugely desirable as is a minimum of 4 years legal conflicts/new business experience (previous US law firm experience is desired but not essential). Applicants must have strong verbal and written skills, the ability to conduct legal and corporate research and be able to provide an excellent customer service consistently. Relevant professional qualifications or degree educated applicants will be preferred. Salary range for this role is £50-58,000 with offices based by Liverpool Street station.
