I am looking for the ideal NodeJS candidate to have around 4 / 5 years commercial experience, be willing to work from home and in the office when required as well as have a passion for NodeJS and AWS ideally as you will be working on a number of cloud based websites.
*Development of products that both meet acceptance criteria and follow best practice SEO, accessibility, standards and optimisation across all supported devices & browsers
*Produce well structured and commented code for reuse across the development team
*Review product stories, UI & UX designs to ensure criteria is clearly defined and deliverable
*Provide estimates for development and contribute to planning sessions, breaking work into subtasks and requesting further requirements where necessary
*Prioritise and schedule workload to meet deadlines
*Present development work back to stakeholders in reviews
*Recommending improvements to software design, product development & development workflows
*Ensure development work is version controlled
*Lead progression of products by keeping abreast of industry trends and technological advances
Ideal candidate will need:
*4/5 years Node experience in a similar commercial environment ideally with Typescript
*Knowledge of web libraries
*Functional / OOP
*An understanding of front-end web technologies
*Good understanding of working on AWS
*Excellent communication skills
You will be working from home for the first 3 months of employment but must be commutable to central London. Benefits include bonus scheme, pension, generous holidays, health care etc.
