Senior Accountant – Insurance
This is a newly created role working for a growing specialist insurance group.
They require a qualified accountant with a strong background in insurance to be responsible for the reporting for a number of their insurance entities. As well as the reporting required this roles includes extensive internal business partnering including underwriting, claims and intrnaional operations.
Core responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Preparation of annual statutory accounts
Reinsurance accounting including analysis of reinsurance recoveries
Regulatory and branch reporting
Process improvement projects
You will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACCA or CIMA) with demonstrable experience of accounting within an insurance environment including preparation of management and statutory accounts.

Salary: £55000 – £64000/annum
