A leading consultancy are seeking an experienced Security Architect to join a project team on a security cleared client site based in the Bristol area (valid SC or DV clearance required). The team are working to deliver and assure secure solutions according to bespoke client requirements, and they require a security specialist to assist with security specific aspects of the design and implementation process.

The ideal Security Architect will have previous experience in a client and stakeholder facing security position, working to recommend and apply security best practices to guide clients through the change process. This will involve auditing existing technology platforms, gap analysis versus various industry standard frameworks, and change and technology/vendor recommendations to bring solutions in line with required standards.


Client and stakeholder facing requirement gathering to establish client needs and the parameters for solutions
Translating requirements into technical roadmaps, High Level Designs, Proof of Concepts, prototypes and early user guides
Managing risk in design and vendor/tool selection, as well as working with on-site teams to mitigate risks in the implementation process
Required Skills and Experience:

Valid and Active UK SC or DV clearance
Security Architecture and security/project assurance
Security framework and accreditation assessment and/or audit – ISO, HMG, COBIT etc.
Designing solutions including Identity and Access Management/Controls, Encryption, Intrusion Detection, threat modelling and monitoring systems
Ideal Experience:

CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCP IA, ISO 27001 and similar certifications
MODAF, TOGAF and ITIL frameworks
Information security and data protection
