Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a School Business Manager to join a school in the South Birmingham area. Our client is an Academy for 11-18-year olds and promotes an ethos of learning for life.
The school are seeking an experienced and hardworking individual with a strong financial background to join their established staff team. Responsibilities will include overseeing the finance team, maintaining the school’s financial functions, and recovering financial information.
The school are looking for a candidate who is able to start as soon as possible on a full-time temporary basis initially.

A certificate or diploma in School Business Management or Accountancy
Leadership and management experience including finance and Health & Safety.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to prioritise tasks and organise their time well.
The ability to develop excellent relationships with all stakeholders.
Be professional, friendly, helpful, a ‘public face’ for the school.
A genuine desire to involve yourself fully in the life of our school and to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities as a School Business Manager:
Lead and manage the Finance team
Delivering CPD and training to staff members when required
Attend SLT and school management meetings
Promote the high standards of the school
Continued professional development
