A leading global financial services organisation, based in Manchester city cetnre, are looking to recruit an experienced R2R Accountant to assist them during an extremely busy period.
The Role and Responsibilities of the R2R Accountant position will include:
Processing of complex financial transactions.
Posting journal entries for complex general ledger accounts.
Reconciling general ledger activity to ensure that the trial balance includes expected transactions and reflects the correct balances.
Identifying and analysing exceptions.
Providing support for a wide range of R2R activities such as audits, the fulfillment of ad hoc requests, and special project activities.
Participation in complex accounting activities such as supporting complex recurring and one time transactions, such as accruals, intercompany, and adjusting transactions in addition to performing more advanced and complex reconciliations of accounts or financial data.
Support the ERP and R2R support tool implementation activities.The successful individual will;
Be ideally ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or QBE and overseas equivalent.
Have previous experience of Financial or Liquidity Regulatory Reporting, such as the Liquidity Delegated Act (LCR/ALMM/PRA110 returns).
Have strong ERP experience.
