Essex County Council are seeking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker to join a well-managed team in Leaving and After Care. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes:
Leaving and Aftercare Teams concentrate on good outcomes for young people aged 16 – 25 who are in care or have left care.
Social worker is responsible for managing a defined caseload whilst working effectively with children, young people and families/carers to achieve positive change and improved outcomes.
This includes enquiry, assessment, purposeful intervention through direct work and review in relation to Child Protection, Child in Need and Children Looked After, achieving permanency through care for Children in Care.
To ideal candidate will have:
Social Work England registration
Eligibility to work in the UK
Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
