Reporting into the General Manager, this role would suit a Project Manager or Programme Manager or with experience of Warehouse/Distribution Centre operations.
THE ROLE:
Work with internal & external stakeholders to identify the specific desired outcomes needed for each project.
Improving Warehouse efficiencies.
Warehouse Layout Planning/Improvement.
Resource Planning & Operational Utilisation Planning.
Heavily involved with new business implementations.
Adopt and foster a ‘Change Mentality’ and inspire other people to take the same approach.
Client-Facing and able to engage both internal & external stakeholders.
Make recommendations to the Board about proposed changes.
This role will Project Manage the implementation of a new WMS system within the next year.
This will be a “hands-on” Tactical Project Management position.
THE PERSON:
Experience of project managing Warehouse/Distribution Centre Change.
Able to grasp the wide breadth of the business and get involved with whatever areas need improving.
Ideally someone with an operational Warehouse/Distribution Centre background who has moved into Projects – understand what you are talking about when liaising with the operations teams.
Multi-Client/Multi-User experience – PREFERABLE
