I’ll be honest, Fixed Term Contracts aren’t for everyone and aren’t always ideal. However in these weird Covid-19 times that we face they offer a glimmer of light to those find themselves in the depths of unemployment.
With a FTC it is the opportunity to jump back into a busy, social environment that will invigorate you day to day again. It is the chance for you get your foot back in the door in the fast paced Food Manufacturing industry that you’ve missed.
This position is to support the Production teams who have been flat out providing the nation with their Christmas food. Rest assured should you deliver an impact in your tenure then there will be potential opportunity to secure yourself something full time.
The business is a chilled food manufacturer and as such requires someone who used to a fast paced, day 1 for day 1 manufacturing environment. Ideally you will have worked in Ready Meals, Sandwiches, Soups, Sauces, Meat or something similar.
They aren’t just looking for someone to come in for an easy ride over the next 9-12 months but someone who is going to actively look to make a difference. You’ll be managing a team of over 30 people with the opportunity to deliver CI improvements in the time that you’re there.
What now?
With this being a Fixed Term Contract it is absolutely essential that you have this experience already. To clarify:
Chilled Food Manufacturing experience (Ready Meals, Sandwiches, Meat, Soups, Sauces etc)
Shift Management experience, responsible for teams of over 30.
Ability to implement CI.
