Our client, based in Bolton, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join them on a permanent full time basis.
As Production Manager, you will review production and engineering processes and methodology, improving efficiencies and productivity. Planning production in line with sales orders, the future pipeline, reviewing capacity / future capacity as the business continues to grow. You will improve production and engineering area to achieve build, quality, cost delivery targets. You will maintain production records to support customers and employees alike and will play an active role in new product development, modification and enhancement for the company, ensure build plans are updated and production records managed.
You will train new starters, lead and manage the production team, reviewing resources, ensure quality standards & assessments in the production workshop, assist with service and warranty issues, manage documentation, oversee health & safety within your team and department, produce cover for the engineering director, ensure company production objectives are met.
To be considered for the role of Production Manager, it is essential that you have worked in a machinery manufacturing / production environment that has managed a team and that you are a self starter who is highly motivated, diligent with strong interpersonal skills, effective in continuous improvement and driven in the success of your team and company. The position will offer the chance to further train and grow within the role as the company further develops.

Salary: £30000 – £35000/annum Plus benefits
