Oakleaf are currently seeking a full time or part time Procurement Officer to join us at our head office in Hare Hatch, Berkshire. We operate a number of hospitals and healthcare services around the UK. We order and manage a wide variety of goods to run our hospitals so this is a very varied and busy role.
You will need to have at least 12 months experience within a fast paced procurement role ideally healthcare.
The role is either full or part time. If part time this can be worked across 3 days or 5 days school hours.
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for helping to manage supplier relationships, raising purchase orders, liaising with hospital managers and directors and tracking deliveries.
Will need to be able to update managers, directors and stakeholders and work to tight deadlines. Must be able to think outside the box to solve and overcome problems. Very fast paced role so will need to be very organised.
The successful Procurement Officer will need to have excellent communication skills both verbal and written as will be required to liaise and update our managers on a regular basis. Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office) are absolutely essential.
