The Redline group have an exciting opportunity for a Process Technician to join our rapidly growing, global semiconductor client, based in in Newport, South Wales.
As a Process Technician, Newport, South Wales you will be working on the forefront of technology in the Photonics field for a global client who are producing game changing products across the industry.
The Process Technician, Newport, South Wales is Responsible for process and setup on Die Bonder systems (Chip on chip and chip on wafer). To support and troubleshooting of production line. Have first person of contact for production trouble shooting. Working on time critical topics. This candidate needs a strong technical background in semiconductor devices. Gives technical advice to clean room staff. Participate in organization of material and workflow. Document all processes, findings and assist with debug of the bonding process.
This candidate will have a minimum of an apprenticeship or equivalent, but BA is preferred and Semiconductor and Clean room experience preferred. Ability to maintain effective working relationships. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools; MS Word and Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with C# or similar language. Vision inspection systems desired
