The Redline group have an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to join our rapidly growing, global semiconductor client, based in in Newport, South Wales.
As a Process Engineer, Newport, South Wales you will be working on the forefront of technology in the Photonics field for a global client who are producing game changing products across the industry.
The Process Engineer, Newport, South Wales is responsible for all aspects of Chip on chip/ chip on wafer systems i.E. Setup and debugs die integration machines, writes/edits small C# programs to enhance image processing software, They will understand SiPh and III-V test techniques, utilizing a strong technical background in semiconductor devices and opto-photonics
This candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related fields of Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Applied Physics and have 5+ of related experience in process manufacturing. They will have proven work experience in process engineering and excellent technical skills, they will have knowledge of process related standards and experience in process simulations. They will also have working knowledge of process engineering software packages. Knowledge of clean room environment practices and behaviour preferred
