My client is an international multidisciplinary engineering and project management consultancy for the transport and infrastructure environment. They provide a full range of engineering and asset management services globally and they require a Principal Consultant Engineer to join their technology business unit.
Important – Good solid experience in Intelligent Transport Systems and Asset Management – predominantly in the Highways and Rail sectors.
As the Principal Consultant Engineer you will join a highly professional team that have a great reputation in the industry, you will the contribute to the leadership of diverse teams of engineering professionals and consultants operating in Intelligent Transport Systems and Asset Management.
To be the Principal Consultant Engineer you will need; experience in using various forms of contract particularly NEC3/4, team management experience, developing new business, ensuring high quality project deliverables.
Being the Principal Consultant Engineer you will le projects on behalf of the technology discipline, work competently in collaboration with the Smart Infrastructure (Intelligent Transport Systems & Lighting) and Asset Management team, Security Consultancy team as well as others. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with clients, support them in their needs, tailor solutions to each project, utilise new technology and manage project finances effectively.
The ideal Principal Consultant Engineer will be an enthusiastic individual with a proven track record in a commercially focused business with an expertise in project delivery.
