My client is seeking an experienced Anti- Social Behaviour Officer to be able to successfully manage their own patch of estates in order to monitor and reduce ASB cases. The Officer will be responsible for keeping accurate, up to date records of all actions taken. The client understands the pressures of the position and is keen to support all team members in a comfortable working condition.
The team are looking for an experienced candidate that will hit the ground running bringing success amongst knowledgeable peers. The client is looking for an Officer that can take cases from investigation through to the write up and preparation in documents to be presented in court. Roles and Responsibilities:
To be responsible for the management, and development of the Anti-Social
Behaviour Coordinators, who are responsible for delivering specialist resources for preventing and addressing Anti-Social Behaviour, Racial Harassment and Hate Crime across the borough, irrespective of tenure.
To provide expert advice to Coordinators on casework and legal and other remedies and co-ordinate resources to provide a high quality, customer-oriented service throughout the borough, ensuring that priorities are addressed and the risk associated with high profile cases is managed. To ensure that where required, multi-agency Neighbourhood strategies are developed to address specific hotspot issues.
To be responsible for detailed monitoring of the coordinators’ casework, ensuring procedures are followed, that the ASB database is fully utilised and regularly updated and the performance targets and service standards are met.
To ensure good communication with Housing & Regeneration, Pinnacle psg, other Council Departments, and external agencies / landlords participating in the borough’s Crime and Disorder Partnership in order to resolve issues of ASB and ensure effective partnership working.
To be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Council’s strategies and
policies relating to equal opportunities, customer care, service delivery and industrial relations within the Unit.
To deputise for the ASB Manager as required in operational matters, including attending multi-agency panels, or other working groups to represent the Unit
