About the School – Primary SENCo – Haringey, North London
Located in the vibrant inner-city borough of Haringy this exceptional Primary School has a great reputation for supporting SEN students who have dyslexia, autism or SEBD. The school has an Additionally Resourced Provision and 3 full time SEN teachers with a large group of support LSA’s. From January, the school is looking to appoint a dedicated, experienced SENCo to oversee these staff members and the department, setting the direction for continued development of excellent SEN teaching at the school. This school has a highly inclusive ethos for all and is keen to include SEN learners in as many mainstream classes as possible. When this is not appropriate the school has dedicated teaching areas which enable SEN students to make excellent progression. Ongoing professional development is important for all staff but especially in SEN teaching so whoever joins will be responsible for ensuring all staff are at the top of their ability in this area.

*The school can only accept applications from experienced SENCo’s who hold a current SENCO qualification.
