This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Administrator to join a fasted paced industry leading organisation.
Responsible for providing administration support ensuring an efficient, accurate, responsive service and referring more complex issues to appropriate team members.
Core Activities, Duties and Key Tasks
-Take ownership for aspects of the designated administration processes of the People Department
-Manage the administration of all employee related changes such as variations to contracts, completion or extension of probationary periods or termination of employment if unsuccessful, working to agreed deadlines and service level agreements
-Manage the administration in relation to maternity/paternity and adoption matters
-Produce references as required including employment, letting and mortgage references for existing and ex-employees
-Reviewing and chasing outstanding probations each month, ensuring the new employee checks are completed; all employees have references, signed contracts etc. before they complete their probation period
-Working with the Managers to provide reports of key dates, including probation end date, fixed term contract end dates and dates regarding maternity leave etc.
-Acknowledging staff resignations and retirements and completing the leaver’s processed on the People System. Highlighting any concerns to the People Business Partner and recording exit interview data for management overview
-To assist in the implementation of the annual salary review including all administration involved
-Update Head Office reference documents including branches and staff changes as the report e.g. Branch contract list
-Able to idendetify problems and seek solutions
-Strong Communicator both written and verbal
-Experienced working with Microsoft
-Flexible and adaptable
-Understanding of employment law principles
-Previous administration experience
