A brand new a very exciting position has become available for a Payroll Manager to work for a global Financial services business based in the heart of London on a temporary contract basis.
The Payroll Manager is ultimately responsible for the accuracy and timely delivery of ING’s monthly UK payroll (Circa 800 staff).
Ensure external provider and HR adhere to all stages of the agreed monthly calendar steps, escalating if any risk to delivery is posed.
For payroll submission to the provider, collate and organise all HR and other input data, which are to be validated against integrations from the HR system.
Complete validations of all trial payroll runs.
Carry out variance analysis / payroll comparisons.
Ensure payrolls are fully accurate and reconciled in time for sign-off from internal signatories.
Perform daily reconciliation of payroll bank account and action required journals as appropriate. Maintain correct funding levels for payroll.
Assist with ad-hoc requirements as allocated by Payroll Manager / Employment Taxes Manager.
Experience of payroll operation, start to finish.
Up to date knowledge of HMRC payroll legislation, including year-end activity
Competent IT and mathematical knowledge.
Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
