Harvey Nash are assisting our Public Sector client based in Newcastle upon Tyne to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager who is comfortable managing a team and running payroll for up to 6,000 members of staff.
As Payroll Manager you will be responsible for leading the delivery of all Payroll and Pension activities, ensuring a high standard of compliance and accuracy alongside delivering exceptional customer service to all service users.
Key responsibilities will include:
Develop and motivate the Payroll team to deliver exceptional service
Devise, implement and own robust controls in Payroll and Pensions to ensure integrity, accuracy and additionally controls around business continuity.
Develop and foster good working relationship with all internal stakeholders, in particular the HR and Finance teams – additionally collaborate with these stakeholders to produce MI as requested.
This role is integral to the smooth running of the organisation and you must be able to demonstrate that you can operate at this level.
This role comes with attractive benefits and is currently operating on a remote basis for the remainder of the year, however next year this role will require some time on site.
Salary: £41000 – £50000/annum
