I am delighted to be recruiting for a Operations Manager for a well established manufacturing business in W. Yorkshire. As a Operations Manager you will be responsible for driving through the output of the production facility and making improvements where necessary to drive through efficiency’s.

My client is a well-established manufacturing business in the West Yorkshire region. Due to continued growth and development of their production facility, they are looking for a Operations Manager that can be an integral part of the manufacturing function and really help drive the team forward.
Description
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
Organising and planning production schedules for the team.
Working to agreed budgets and KPI schedules, whilst also looking to develop your own for your team.
Working to HSE compliance standards within the production facility and building on improvements in this area.
Contributing and implementing the manufacturing vision of the company and helping that area develop further.
Analysing and interpreting key production data to assist in the overall improvement to the facility.
Managing, coaching and training a high performance manufacturing team and implementing succession planning strategies into the business.
Liaising with key stakeholders across the manufacturing environment including quality, engineering and maintenance to assist in the continued development of the site.Profile
The successful candidate must:
Be a confident, inquisitive personality with a keen eye for detail and spotting necessary improvements.
Be an excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with both senior management and the team on the shop floor.
Be incredibly organised and disciplined and able to adapt and work to changing circumstances.
Have a lean focused mentality and always striving to make improvements.
Be degree qualified within a relevant engineering discipline or have equivalent qualifications (HNC/HND).
Lean Six Sigma qualified and IOSH accredited are desirable.
Be commercially minded and have a good understanding of budgets and working to these.
Have implemented MRP/ERP Systems previously into a production facility and be confident in interpreting and delivering on the data collected.Job Offer
