Extremely busy maintenance/facilities company is looking for an experienced Operation Manager, looking for career advancement, to allow the MD to step away from some of the operational duties within the business.
Job Description:
Managing a team of 7-8 office staff as well as sub-contractors for each construction project the firm takes on
Managing projects and putting systems in place to assist the continued growth of the business
Managing day to day operations
Visiting sites, overseeing projects
Implementing new ideas and systems
Developing and supporting the team, coaching to get the best out of people
Improving relationships between all teams
Performance reviews, training, running team meetings, 1-1 staff meetings
Health and Safety, Risk Assessments
Recruitment
Client relationships
Meeting deadlines
Person Specification:
Ideally educated to Degree standard
Management and operations experience
This will suit somebody stepping up in to the role, therefore looking for a new challenge
Extremely organised and efficient
Experience of putting systems into place
Strong leadership skills
An ambitious person that can help the business continue to grow
Excellent communication skills
Additional Information:
Weybridge (can also be part home based)
Salary: £40-45k
Use of company vehicle/travel expenses paid
Comprehensive/attractive benefits package.
