Working with the NHS our client’s mission is to provide a unique service that will ensure that all service users will receive the mobility equipment they require on time. They are looking for an exceptional occupational therapist to provide a clinical input to all service users, their families and carers, working closely within the established multi-disciplinary team.

As the successful occupational therapist you will be responsible for prescribing the most suitable equipment and training to meet the needs of the service users whilst maintaining and providing links between clients and local therapists. You will participate in organising functions across various clinic locations; promoting and representing the service by taking active roles in activities, conferences and events to ensure the service is accessible to the community.

The successful candidate will have:
*Degree/Diploma in Occupational therapy
*Current HCPC registration
*Experience of undertaking holistic assessments.
Previous experience of working as an Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist working with patients with long-term and deteriorating medical conditions, including palliative care and an understanding of the impact of these conditions on patient’s lives
*Previous experience of working in a Wheelchair service is preferred but not essential
*Current UK driving licence is essential
