Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer – electrical bias. Shifts: 6-2 and 2-10 Monday to Friday.

Delivering over 15 million items per week to more than 14,000 organisations, within the UK and they operate from 16 local distribution centres. They now require a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team at their Ruislip site.
Your new role
You will join a skilled Maintenance Team where your main duties will include:
To effectively maintain the machinery and equipment ensuring that the automated equipment and systems run to optimum efficiency in accordance
Proactively monitor automation and system performance ensuring any issues identified are raised, escalated and captured on CMMS
To proactively carry out maintenance and repair works as and when required and supporting a continuous improvement process.
Ensure that the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is fully utilised in line with company guidelines and all planned maintenance and corrective work is carried out in a timely manner.
Management of engineering workshops, stores areas, spares and equipment
To Actively participate in any training and development requirements to ensure sufficient competence and capability are attained and maintained.
To manage specified HSE risks on site
What you’ll need to succeed
You are skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias and you must be qualified to NVQ level 3. You MUST be able to demonstrate maintenance engineering experience of working in either a manufacturing or distribution environment. You can work effectively and efficiently on your own initiative but you can also work well in a team, sharing your knowledge and expertise. You understand the importance of PPM and keeping downtime to a minimum.
