MARKETING COORDINATOR – RETAIL

We are currently working with a well-known retail brand based in Leeds that is looking to expand their team and recruit an experienced Marketing Coordinator to take responsibility of the online & offline marketing activities for its retail operations. They’re a massively successful organisation who has continued to expand over the last year due their loyal customer base and their reputation for high quality fashion.
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Marketing Coordinator who has experience within the retail space who is looking for a BIG opportunity with rapidly expanding company.
THE MARKETING COORDINATOR ROLE:
Working as a Marketing Coordinator within a Retail & Ecommerce business, reporting to the Marketing Director
Managing the Marketing Executive, paying attention to their development needs, motivation and workload balance.
Understand the brand and ensure that all key messaging and campaigns, and their creative interpretation across all mediums are aligned
Developing new on-brand creative ideas to drive brand awareness and sales for the retail, direct and wholesale channels.
Developing and managing all marketing communications related to the store, including windows, POS, general visual merchandising and event collateral.
Making sure the store staff are always up to speed with new campaigns and the store always looks visually impactful.
Making sure retail is promoted effectively on email, web and social.
Managing the store social feeds to drive awareness and footfall.
Working with the PR Manager on store events, producing relevant collateral and generating awareness.
Developing new ideas to drive additional footfall, customer loyalty and drive sales
Manage the development of marketing comms for the direct business, including but not exclusively parcel flyers, birthday mailings and welcome pieces.
Catalogue – Managing the catalogue covers, writing briefs and controlling versions including reactivation, recruitment and international segments; Helping sense check the inners, adding value from a campaign perspective.
Inserts – Briefing studio on creative; Writing required copy elements; Checking through to print stage
Working with the Head of Ecommerce to develop seasonal adverts for social on sites such as Facebook
Using best seller info and results to further inform the process.
Also assisting the digital team with the creation of other marketing assets as and when required.
Supporting the Head of Creative in organising two main external photoshoots per season (one abroad).
Taking ownership of prop sourcing, model management, location sourcing, scheduling and budgets.
Producing four main seasonal videos per annum plus cut-down version for social.
Utilise our brand assets to create strong marketing strategies for wholesale and channel partners, to promote the brand
Manage printer relationships to maintain a high level of cost-effectiveness, service & quality, continuously introducing new suppliers who can add value to our activity THE PERSON:
For the Marketing Coordinator position, you’ll need to have the following experiences & skills;
Offline & Online Marketing experience for a retail business is essential
Good understanding of print based marketing collateral such as POS, Flyers, Leaflets etc.
Highly organised, able to coordinate the expertise required both internally and externally
Experience of arranging models and photoshoots is key
Good general copywriting skills
Keen creative eye
