The person Manufacturing Engineer with a CNC background and CAD/CAM expertise to join the team.
As CNC Manufacturing Engineer you will be working within their smart manufacturing facility and be an integral part of a niche team of engineers supporting both new product introductions well as supporting ongoing improvement activities to reduce change over time, reduce scrap and streamline across the product ranges.
On a day to day basis you will be using your in depth CNC skills, undertaking a varied, hands-on role supporting often complex fine tolerance machined parts. This might be developing the processes and systems by applying your lean / continuous improvement understanding or working closely with design on new development, producing offline programs using CAD/CAM through to developing tooling and fixturing concepts.
To succeed in this role you will be an apprentice trained or HNCD+ qualified in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent hands on engineering expertise) and have extensive practical experience in a machining manufacturing environment as a Manufacturing / Production Engineer.
Proven experience in manufacturing precision parts to tight tolerances on modern CNC Machines, coupled with knowledge of CNC programming techniques, 3D CAD / CAM essential – NX10.
