Have you got the Perfect Recipe?

To drive continuous growth and expand our clients offering to pets here in the UK, a dynamic individual is required to play a key role in the production process by taking responsibility for the successful running of a fast-moving extrusion line. We’d love to hear from candidates with previous similar experience gained in a busy, sometimes high-pressure manufacturing environment, but we’re equally happy to provide all the training required to candidates that can demonstrate a real passion for providing production excellence. The successful candidate will place accuracy at the forefront at all times to ensure processes are performed optimally and recipes are followed to the letter.

As your skill set grows, you’ll have the opportunity to increase your salary and take on further responsibility, with all the support and training required provided.

You will need to learn how to set up machinery to run different products to the highest quality. This will include setting up different dies, cleaning down machinery during a change over and analysing problems that may occur during production.
Label products correctly.
Develop through a structured induction and training programme. Your training will continue as you progress in the role.
Information on the regulations of Food Safety legislation, amongst other things, will be provided to help you in your role.
A forklift truck license would be desirable, but not essential.
Working an average of 44 hours per week – Rotational shift pattern of 6am-6pm/6pm-6am.
Essential Ingredients

Hard-working and motivated people who would love to grow with the business and learn the art of manufacturing.
Happy working in a manufacturing environment that can get very hot at times.

You must be comfortable with working rotational shift patterns, including night shifts.
