Key Account Manager
Full Time – Permanent
Salary – £30,000 – £35,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join a reputable logistics organisation in Corby. They are looking for a candidate from an Account Management background in E-Commerce, Retail or Freight Forwarding. You will need to have a good commercial awareness and an ability to build strong relationships.
Duties will include:
Manage a Key Account/s, including responsibility for maintenance and growth of the GP and consignments
Preparing and presenting Weekly KPIs and Monthly Business Reviews
Managing all facets of the Key Account/s for which you are responsible including, credit limits and internal communication with operational departments
Knowledge of the company product portfolio and matching these to customer requirements
Problem solving including root cause and corrective actions
Preparation of quotations for presentation to the customer.
Maintaining and developing the levels of business within that client base, ideally with the aim of becoming the sole supplier.
Make regular contact with your customer pro-actively to ensure that we are satisfying the needs of the customer and with a mind to developing further business opportunities from within that account.The ideal candidate:
A proven track record in Account Management
Develop trusting relationships with key clients to maintain and grow the business
The ability to prioritise and work under pressure within a targeted environment
Ability to build relationships and influence internally
Capability to present tender submissions and new business implementation
A strong head for numbers.
