Zachary Daniels Recruitment are delighted to be partnering a global Veterinary Wholesaler in the appointment of a JAVA and Wildfly Tuner to join their experienced I.T team on an initial 3 month interim contract.

This role will initially be undertaken in a remote capacity and can be based anywhere in the UK.

The role:

We are looking for an experienced I.T professional with strong experience in architecting scalable and reliable systems using our clients product which is a JEE application running over Wildly 10, serving multiple customers over a cluster.

Main Responsibilities:

Help measure system needs
Doing POCs of the different options of configuration, such us algorithms of discovery, failover and load balancing.
Doing POCs around the memory management and caching.
Functional Competencies:

Essential skills

Hands-on experience of configuration deployment and optimisation of JEE applications, and troubleshooting JEE applications at scale.
Deep understanding of Wildfly clustering in high availability (Jgroups, infinispan and distributed caching)
Expertise in Jboss/Wildfly performance tuning, good knowledge of Undertow and its subsystems.
Knowledge of JMX, JPA, JTA, CDI – JVM and GC tuning
Desirable skills

Experience deploying these environments in Azure
Experience with Wildfly Domain Controller
