Java Software Engineer – Event Driven Systems – Full Time – London

Java Software Engineer required with Java Development / Java software engineering skills and some of Java 8 or above (new work is Java 11), Core Java, Spring Boot, multi-threading. Microservices, AWS, algorithms, Kafka / Rabbit /  messaging or streaming or event-driven, Docker, Kubernetes, CI, CD are required to work on massively transactional customer facing systems within a face paced Agile product centric development team is required by tech giant in West London.

As a Java Software Engineer you will have skills in some of :

Java development skills on complex resilient web based systems
Some of Core Java, Java 8, Java 11, Spring, Microservices, multithreading, messaging such as Kafka or RabbitMQ,  Docker, Kubernetes, Hazelcast, Monitoring, CI, CD, Javscript, Automation etc
A passion for clean coding / writing well tested and maintainable code
Agile / TDD experience / Scrum or Lean etc
Ideally experience of complex systems such high volume, highly transactional, distributed systems, multi-threading, concurrency, latency, event-driven systems, real-time etc
Ideally experience of highly available / resilient or distributed systems
Graduate calibre ideally from Red Brick University
Exposure to Algorithms or interest or strong maths skills would be an advantage
A personality to work in small Agile delivery teams of 4 /5 developers who are pair programming

Salary: £48000 – £60000/annum + Bens + Bonus + Generous Bonus
