Position: Interim School HR Administrator

Location: London, (NW4)

Start: ASAP

Duration: 2-4 weeks

Rate: £10-12 per hour

Hours: 21 per week

Our client is a family orientated secondary school based in North West London. They believe strongly in diversity and have partnerships with schools in Asia, India and Africa.

They require a School HR Administrator on a temporary basis, this will be for an initial 2-week period, with potential for extension. The postholder will be working 21 hours per week. 

The perfect candidate would have some HR experience in a school environment, but ideally would at least have experience using SIMS software confidently (or a similar pupil information management product)

Have experience of high-volume recruitment administration. 

Be highly organised with excellent administrative skills and able to work harmoniously, efficiently and often under pressure. 

Have the ability to prioritise and work accurately with a high attention to detail. • Have excellent communication skills, particularly in the drafting of correspondence, formal letters and responding to queries.

Be able to build effective working relationships and work well as part of a busy team. 

Be highly proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel (Intermediate skills related to spreadsheets, basic formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and ideally have experience of using databases. 

Understand and respect sensitivity of HR information and employee records and ensure confidentiality of all written and verbal communications

Understand the importance of safeguarding and safer recruitment within a school environment. 

Experience of providing HR administrative support in a generalist HR office, ideally in a School or education environment would be desirable.

Salary: £10 – £12/hour
