Copello are working alongside a private healthcare client in Gloucestershire seeking an experienced Procurement Project Manager on a contract basis.
This role will work closely alongside the Procurement Director assisting in the roll out of a new procurement strategy. The main remit of this role will be to ensure the successful completion and delivery of the procurement strategy and associated savings programme. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders will be influential in the success of this role.
The role would include ensuring programme governance standards are maintained across the project, including SteerCo and DeliveryCo reporting, championing an agile way of working with project team and SMEs, and best practice project management and providing detailed plans of Procurement savings initiatives and associated activities and producing effective dashboard and metrics creation, monitoring and reporting.
Our client is looking for candidates who have hands-on exposure to agile ways of working including team backlogs, daily stand-ups and retrospectives, who are experienced users of collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, Teams), and have relevant post-grad qualifications like PMP, Prince2 or Scrum. A proven track record delivering successful multi-project Procurement programmes within a cross-functional working environment is also desirable.
This is a fully remote role, contract lasting 12-18 weeks. Part-time working (3days to start dropping to 2days).
Salary: £400 – £450/annum
