Due to continued growth, this trade moulder with over 50 years of producing precision injection moulded components for a huge range of companies and industries, from prestige vehicle manufacturers to large blue chip multi nationals, is looking to hire a Setter to run the nightshift Monday-Friday.
As Nightshift Setter, your duties will include –
Running the nightshift, responsible for the moulding department.
Carrying out tool changes, setting machines, trouble shooting and dealing with basic machine maintenance needs.
Ensure scrap and efficiency levels are kept in line with KPIs
Driving continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to.
Covering for the Shift Manager when required.To be successful in the role of Nightshift Setter, the ideal Candidate will –
Have significant experience with setting, conditioning, trouble-shooting, maintenance & process optimisation of plastic injection moulding machines.
Have worked with a wide range of materials.
Be capable of efficiently carrying out tool changes in a timely manner.
Have experience of supervising a small team of operators.Based near St Helens, this role is easily commutable from Liverpool, Wigan, Warrington. Bolton, and Manchester.
Candidates suitable for the role will hold the same job title or similar such as Toolsetter, Moulding Technician, Setter Technician or Process Technician.
