Humaities Teacher – Full Time – Starting from the 21/22 academic year (Week commencing 23rd August 2021).

One of our partner SEN schools require a Humanities Teacher to join them from the new academic year on a full-time basis. Despite the role being temporary initially, the school are seeking to recruit an ambitious practitioner who has exceptional subject knowledge, is innovative, drives excellence and is available full-time and on a long-term basis. Depending on performance in school, you will then transition on to the schools contract after a select amount of weeks through Teaching Personnel.
The department consists of small, close knit team of subject specialists who work hard to achieve a good atmosphere where staff work in collaboration with one another, support one another’s CPD and share work load.
To be considered for the role you should:
Have UK QTS/QTLS
Have expert knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
Have a good sense of humour, be able to build excellent relationships with staff and students alike
Be an excellent communicator and be adaptable
Have excellent classroom management skills demonstrating good pace, progress and reflective learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
