HR People & Development Administrator – Full Time –

We’ve just taken on an exciting new temporary contract position for a HR People & Development Administrator to join a reputable care organisation based in the Dumfries area. You’ll be joining a great team. The office has a real family feel, and the team are incredibly friendly and collaborative.

As part of my clients HR team, you will help to deliver a first-class employee experience for all people and teams. As HR People & Development Administrator, you will take ownership for all day-to-day HR administration which includes supporting recruitment and talent acquisition administration, learning & development administration, setting up induction on-boarding for new joiners and handling employee HR queries.

A successful HR People & Development Administrator will be responsible for:

Annual leave data collation
Probationary period checklist administration
Processing changes in relation to staff moves, changes to details etc.
Processing 3 yearly PVG updates
Input annual leave in to individual personal profiles in the intranet
Follow up in relation to sickness and absence in relation to paperwork requirements
SSSC checks for new starts and staff
Support with new start onboarding
Send offer packs to new starts
Collate and issue PVG ID’s, forms and send to Disclosure Scotland
Issue contracts to new starts
Set up annual leave entitlement for new staff
Deal with basic annual leave queries
Update and collate car insurance records
Collate relevant information as required in relation to Hepatitis B records
Ensure the HR general inbox is kept up to date and organised clearly
Any other administration tasks required by the People Development Team

To be successful in your application, you will:

6+ months experience of working within a similar setting – ideally HR but not essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Concise and accurate record keeping skills
Able to retain sensitive and confidential information
Experience using full MS Office Suite
