This is a highly varied role, providing essential transactional support to HR and payroll processes from processing all employee queries through to managing payroll data submissions. In this highly varied HR & Payroll Administrator role based in Bradford, roles and responsibilities are to include:

Providing comprehensive transactional support to the HR team
Assessing best methods for recruiting taking into account timescales and budgetary constraints
Ensure employee records are held confidentially, accurately and up to date in line with Data Protection Regulations
Maintain accurate, timely records for actions affecting employees e.g. starters, movers, leavers, disciplinary, maternity
Any other ad hoc administrative duties that require the assistance of the HR team
Calculating and administering all staff pay increases in line with incremental and performance related rises
Liaising with the payroll provider, uploading monthly payroll spreadsheets and all supporting documents ensuring the accurate inclusion of all benefit entitlementsProfile

Previous experience within a HR and/or Payroll environment
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge or experience of the education sector (desirable, not essential)Job Offer

The successful candidate will receive an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that makes a positive difference to the local community.

You will receive a permanent contract, working 37 hours a week across school term time, plus an additional 2-weeks.

Full time equivalent salary ranges up to £27,000 dependent on your previous experience and suitability to the role.

You will be based in Bradford, with home working available and free on-site parking.
