Staffco direct are currently working with a leading distribution client who are looking for a Class 1 driver to join the team for twilight shift.
The work is based in Castleford.
We are looking for a Class 1 driver to do 80% depot to depot driving and 20% shunting on site.
The site is currently operating Sunday to Friday so shifts between these days.
Start times will be between 15:00 – 18:00
You will be responsible for delivery to sub depots, around 3 per night and also when shunting you will be responsible for moving the trailers around the yard to correct bays for loading and unloading.
This role is 80% driving to depots 20% shunting
PLEASE NOTE WEN SHUNTING THIS IS WITH AN ARTIC UNIT NOT TUG
You need to have the following:
Valid Class 1 licence
Valid CPC
Valid Digital tachograph
Relevant Driving experience
Be flexible to the work you are doing.
