SF Recruitment are currently working with a business on a Head of Service Delivery post.
To own and deliver all aspects of operational service delivery.
To assume overall responsibility for the field Service Delivery team and Planning function. Through your team of regional Delivery Managers. Ensuring the highest quality of service is achieved and completed at all times
To drive excellence and consistent customer service with a continual improvement mentality
To liaise with Heads of other departments to quickly identify complaints, non-conformances, service delivery issues or areas for improvement, whether these come from our internal or external customers, ensuring that we maintain resource to meet their requirements.
To work with Heads of other departments to identify future opportunities or areas for potential growth.
To implement a culture of safety first ensuring that it is a number one priority for all.
Be a visible leader of the team, giving advice, support and guidance with a results and solution focussed mentality, to ensure consistent alignment of the senior team to the same goals.
Be commercially focussed to ensure that all works are delivered as efficiently and as timely as possible, whilst maintaining high quality service standards and delivering continual improvement.
Report performance using appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the Heads of Department, Strategic Leadership Team (SLT) and the Board when requested, work with the senior team to develop new systems to measure and continually drive & improve team performance.
Ensure that every member of the team is the best they can be by driving a top class people culture
Be a major influencer on all Service Delivery tasks
Provide competent support and expert advice to our external and internal customers on all Operational Service Delivery related issues.
Identify and support potential team leaders for future growth and development of the team.
Ensure that my team receives context for decisions made and are communicated with at least weekly
Offer support to our internal and external customers for large or multi-site projects, at quote and delivery stages.
Support recruitment with senior team to help ensure that we maintain the right quality and resource level to support our customers in all geographies.
Must have a technical background – Mechanical Engineering or similar
Be a great people leader and manage the team through mentoring, training, coaching and enabling them personal development
Be a great communicator, within and beyond the team
Salary: £60000 – £65000/annum Car, Bonus
