Groundwork Manager and Civils Contract Manager

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Key role and responsibilities for Groundwork and Civils Contract Manager

* Following constant on the job training

* Managing and administrating groundwork contracts

* Managing labour, plant and materials daily

* Business Development

* Recording variations

* Managing workflow

* Recording site progress

* Progress reporting

* Taking on site measures

* Reviewing and implementing H&S

* Document Control

Minimum requirements for the ideal Groundwork Manager and Civils Contract Manager

* CSCS Card

* Driving License

* 5 years plus experience as a Groundwork Manager / Contracts Manager

* 10 Years plus experience in the groundwork industry all aspects of Groundworks.

* Degree Educated Ideal but not essential

* Open mind and good work ethic

* Positive can do attuite

* Able to read drawings

* Punctual

* Hard working

* Knowledge of all aspects of groundworks

* Excellent working knowledge of excel and word documents

* Able to draft emails and confident in all forms of communication

* Passion for the groundworks industry.
