Engineering Support Technician

Working for a fantastic local company, providing general mechanical and electrical support to the Engineering Department for R&D and prototype build and test.
The Engineering Support Technician will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to the requirements of evolving project development.
oBuild of mechanical sub-assemblies from engineering drawings, diagrams and work instructions
oWire prototype machines
oTest prototype assemblies and machines to support development
oEnsure quality of build in all areas
oSupport test of R&D projects, follow test plan, collect and record data and write report
oSupport the improvement of the company’s quality procedures
The Engineering Support Technician will have the following:
oAbility to work on own initiative and also follow work instructions
oAbility to perform basic testing and problem solving
oAbility to work accurately to procedure to produce work of consistent high quality
