Technical Services Director
As part of the Senior Leadership Team and reporting to the Divisional Director, you will set direction for the Technical Services function and ensure alignment to the overall Group Engineering strategy.
As an experienced people manager, you will provide proactive and visible functional leadership of your team of 9 direct reports, circa 80 permanent employees, and seasonal employee support; including the Engineering, Facilities, Waste Management, Park Presentations and Landscape departments.
Complete strategic planning of annual Engineering, Facilities (hard and soft), Landscape and park conservation activities; ensuring the department is well set up and sufficiently resourced to deliver, asset availability targets, improvement of park infrastructure and business KPI’s during the operational season and annual maintenance period Use a Planned Preventative Maintenance approach, managing asset and estate maintenance, ensuring the delivery of key operational targets
Support the delivery of the strategic Health & Safety plan, ensuring robust H&S practices and a H&S centric culture, throughout the technical services function Furthermore, you will ensure a positive and respectful working environment, where tasks and projects are completed within regulatory guidelines and in compliance with the Group Engineering.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team your main objectives are to secure a smooth and efficient operation of the park and to help drive the strategic development of the Resort. A full working knowledge of the ADIPS scheme and H.S.E. Document HSG 175
A full working knowledge of appropriate engineering related statutory H&S requirements e.g. Electricity at Work, LOLER/PUWER regulations, safe use of lifting equipment, C.O.S.H.H, RIDDOR general responsibilities for the maintenance of a Safe Working Environment under the Health & Safety at Work Act You have a broad and solid experience in maintenance and/or facilities management too (e.g. Using SFG 20 and CMMS packages in support, to ensure full legal compliance of Fire alarms / emergency Lighting, Gas Inspections, PAT Testing, 5 year Fixed Wire testing, Legionella, Asbestos) You thrive with daily challenges and provide creative and solid solutions based on thorough analysis and prioritization.

This is Full-Time, Permanent role, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
