Electrophoresis QC Scientist – Full Time – Gateshead

CK group are recruiting for a QC Scientist, to join the Clinical Electrophoresis division of a well established medical diagnostic company to be based at their site in Gateshead on a permanent basis.

The Capillary Electrophoresis QC Scientist role:
Reporting to the General QC Manager, your primary responsibility would be the quality control testing of capillary electrophoresis product portfolio in an ISO 13485 manufacturing and testing facility.

The role encompasses all phases of quality control testing including:

Incoming raw material inspection.
Functional capillary electrophoresis testing and data review.
Final product package content checks.
External quality assessment testing and submission.
Your background:
The successful candidate will have a strong life science background (Bioscience degree or equivalent laboratory experience), with a good knowledge and interest in electrophoresis. You must be computer literate and organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to plan and manage your own workload to meet deadlines.
