Working closely with the HR Team and the D&I Strategy Group, the Diversity & Inclusion Manager will ensure that diversity agendas are successfully implemented and fall in line with the firm objectives. As our ideal candidate, you will have a good understanding of external trends and have the ability to transfer these into actions at BDB Pitmans. In your new role, you will be responsible for:
Developing and delivering D&I related programmes and activities that support our overall strategy and drive forward the firm’s D&I strategy.
Developing and maintaining a network of D&I relationships inside and outside of the sector
Providing guidance to the wider HR Team with regards to the practical application of any diversity related policies and develop new policies and procedures in conjunction with the HR Manager.
Influencing key stakeholders across the firm that have a role to play within the D&I agenda
Managing the Diversity Champions
Keeping abreast of research, thought leadership and market trends in the D&I field and attend related events and seminars.
Being the point of contact for all D&I queries for best practice and information
Managing the D&I budget.Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced HR Professional with a proven track record of delivering diversity and inclusion projects. As our ideal Diversity and Inclusion Manager, you will be degree educated with a CIPD Level 5 qualification. You will also have the following skills:
Excellent IT skills – Word, Outlook, Excel
Good knowledge of HR processes and relevant legislation.
Highly effective communicator, who easily builds relationships with stakeholders to deliver results
Excellent organisational skills with strong project management experience and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively and positively influence managers and teams
